ACU National — Qualify for Life

Open Day at the Canberra Campus (Signadou) is your chance to experience
the friendly atmosphere, speak to staff about your study opportunities and
discover the quality facilities and teaching areas. The Campus is
recognised for its excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate study
in education, nursing, social work and theology.

The Australian Catholic University will offer the first year of the standard
Bachelor of Nursing course commencing in Semester One 2009, offering
entry into the new degree for school leavers as well as non-school leaver
students. ACU National is also introducing the Early Achievers program, a
new early entry scheme for prospective students.

Course information sessions will be held during the day and guided tours
of the campus will be led by current students. Advice on enrolment and
university life will also be available throughout the day. The university will be
offering information sessions for parents of prospective students who may
have concerns or questions about what to expect as their children move
toward university study. (Session times below).

ACU is a public university and welcomes students from a variety of beliefs
and backgrounds. More than 700 students are currently enrolled in Canberra.
Our graduates rate their educational experience highly with one of the best
rates of employment in Australia. The university prides itself on its teaching
and on the quality of the interaction between staff and students. Many of our
courses involve practical components in which students demonstrate their
skills and knowledge in real-life settings.

Opportunities for postgraduate study are also available. There are Graduate
Certificates, Graduate Diplomas and Masters in Social Work Child Welfare,
Youth Studies, Education, Religious Education, and theology. PhD study is
also available and inquiries are welcomed. Further information on
